Jennie was born and raised in Salem, Or. and has lived in Portland for the past 24 years. She loves the beauty and nature of the Pacific NW & is thankful to have raised her 3 wonderful children here.

Jennie enjoys doing most anything artistic & creative, including sewing, which led her to run her own small business creating children’s wear. She brought these business skills with her when the opportunity came about to own & operate the preschool her son attended. She spent 13 fun and rewarding years in that role and found the students’ passion for learning and unbiased views of the world to be inspiring. In her spare time, Jennie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking in Forest Park and Central Oregon, watercolor painting, and listening to her record collection.
