Jennifer is originally from Florida and went to thirteen different schools in five states in the South. All the moving taught her to be adaptable and make new friends quickly, which was beneficial when she later moved to Eastern Europe as an adult and lived for ten years.
She received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations at the University of Alabama and years later, her Master’s degree in Theology and the Arts at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia.
She has been involved in working with college students in education and non-profit for many years and is delighted to bring her organizational and event experience to help raise funds for much younger students who are deaf and hard of hearing.
Her favorite things to do in her spare time are anything to do with art – make it, view it, and talk about it. She likes to take bike rides and explore hidden places. She also has an uncanny knack for finding random objects and handwritten papers. She lives with her husband and has two grown stepchildren, Jared and Lexi.
