Lee began her relationship with Tucker Maxon at the age of 2, shortly after being diagnosed with hearing loss in both ears. She was fitted with hearingaids and started working with the first of many wonderful speech and listening therapists. After receiving support from Tucker-Maxon through her elementary and high school years, she went on to graduate from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, with a joint major in biology and science in society.
She moved to Rochester, New York to be with her future husband, Mike, and she stumbled into a clinical research job at the University of Rochester. Eighteen years and three biotech companies later, she is a clinical team leader for Covance, Inc., managing global clinical research studies for major pharmaceutical companies.
Lee enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young boys. She participates in team relay runs and hopes to eventually find the time to hike, garden, and knit again.
