Shayne Maister is a Jersey-born and Philly-bred East Coaster, with over 10 years of experience in childcare. Over the years, Shayne has worked as a camp counselor, nanny, and home school pod leader during the remote 2020-2021 school year.

It’s no surprise that her approach to working with children is rooted in fostering their innate creativity, as she is a classically-trained singer, performance poet, and voice over artist. She also has a B.A. in Advertising (with a focus in copywriting) from Temple University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015.

When she’s not honing her many crafts or finding new ones to dabble in, she enjoys studying astrology and Jewish mysticism, reading tarot, playing her daily regimen of eight different versions of Wordle, and savoring the beautiful natural wonders (and food!) of the PNW.

She is thrilled to join the Tucker Maxon family and offer her support to students and staff in any way she can!
