Alicia is a Portland native, born and raised in our beautiful corner of the Northwest. Educated in the Parkrose School District, she played clarinet in orchestra and served as Drum Major in the marching band before attending Reed College to study Russian language and literature. She spent the early years of her career in the insurance and tech support industries. Later, she joined the nonprofit world where she discovered a passion for being a small, integral part of a collaborative team, which eventually led her to Tucker Maxon.

Alicia is a wearer-of-many-hats around campus— a trouble-shooter, school nurse, tech nerd, queen of spreadsheet data, animal-wrangler, customer service rep, systems explainer, supply finder, and organizational problem solver.  Outside of work, she is an avid reader of sci-fi, fantasy, and nautical fiction. She is a great lover of music in many eclectic genres, an amateur arachnologist/spider enthusiast, and lives with her trusty dog, Tugboat.
