Karrine is from Scottsdale, Arizona and attended Arizona State University. She graduated in 2024 with her bachelor’s degree in finance and completed an undergraduate thesis on children’s language skills as part of ASU’s honors program. After graduating, she moved to Redwood City, California where she worked at the Weingarten Children’s Center (WCC). While working at WCC, Karrine made the decision to move to Vancouver, Washington and was recommended to work at Tucker Maxon, a school that teaches DHH children similarly to WCC. Since moving to Vancouver, she has enjoyed exploring Portland and trying out new restaurants and shops in her free time! Karrine also enjoys puzzles, cats, reading, and hanging out with friends.
