Dave first became aware of Tucker Maxon and its mission nearly 50 years ago through the involvement of friends, and more recently from watching John Lenz’s involvement with the Board of Directors. After working for John for 36 years, Dave retired in May 2025 and was looking for opportunities to serve and give back to the community. His background in insurance marketing, financial planning and taxes and the opportunity to continue to work with John in a Board capacity was a motivating factor.

Upon retiring from Lenz Financial Group on May 1, he continues to work in the insurance industry part-time. In addition, he enjoys time with his family including two busy grandchildren, DIY & home repair, and trips to the beach and New Mexico.
