Tucker Maxon is looking for a 3/4-time to full-time FTE teacher to work with K-5 students on reading and writing interventions individually and in small groups, in-person, on-site at our SE Portland campus. We are launching a new Literacy Initiative and this position will coordinate overall strategy for curriculum, tutoring, library, OBOB, and SMART program at the school. Reading endorsement on teaching license or certificate highly preferred. Experience of at least one-year teaching reading to elementary students is required. This role will also require leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with elementary and preschool teachers. Applicants must have or be able to obtain an Oregon Background Check (CBR) by Sept 5th. The position reports to the Principal of the school. The start date is as soon as possible.

Salary range DOE is $42-45K with excellent benefits.
